About the event
We are hosting our children's art competition again this year, with online entries opening on 29 September 2025. Shortlisted entries will be chosen and exhibited in our Museum with prizes up for grabs!
To celebrate  40 years since women were given the opportunity to become firefighters in the NSW Fire Brigades (now Fire and Rescue NSW), this years theme will focus on the contributions of women in the history of firefighting.
Using this theme illustrate, using an artistic medium of your choice, images that inspire or represent the history of women firefighters in Fire and Rescue NSW.
Please note that this year, we are receiving online entries only, and if you are shortlisted, then we will contact you to arrange delivery of the artwork.
Online entries will open on 29 September 2025.
